A checkout timer adds gentle urgency during the booking process.
It temporarily reserves a client’s selected slot (e.g., 15 minutes) so no one else can take it while they complete checkout.
Enable it under
Organization Menu (top left) → Settings → Payment & Checkout.

How It Works

  • When a client selects a service, event, or class, Oskar holds the slot for the duration of the timer.
  • If the client completes checkout in time, the booking is confirmed instantly.
  • If the timer expires, the slot is released and becomes available again.
This mechanism prevents double-bookings and keeps scheduling accurate during busy periods. For a deeper understanding of slot reservations, see:
Pending Orders.
