See Accommodations for room types, multi-night stays, extras, and availability management.
For wellness retreats or programmes combining events and overnight stays, see Hospitality & Retreats.

1. Chat with Oskar

Describe your hotel in one sentence — for example:
“I run a 10-room boutique hotel offering breakfast and late checkout.”
Oskar will create a draft setup with rooms, a nightly stay service, and placeholder extras.
You’ll see a live booking page preview as the setup forms.

2. Refine Your Setup

Adjust room names, pricing, descriptions, and images.
Upload your logo, banner, and adjust the booking page layout.
When the preview feels right, click Proceed with this setup to publish the draft.

3. Define Your Rooms

Use Left Menu → MANAGE → Resources to create each room.
  • Add each room (e.g. “Room 101”, “Room 102”).
  • For identical room types, use sub-resources under a parent (e.g. “Standard Room”).
  • This prevents double-bookings and shows the correct availability.
In the Calendar, add cleaning blocks or maintenance times manually using regular bookings or time blocks.

4. Add the Nightly Stay Service & Extras

Go to Services:
  • Create “Nightly Stay” or rename the one Oskar created.
  • Set Booking Duration = Nights.
  • Link the service to the correct rooms or room types.
  • Add Extras or Price Variants such as:
    • Breakfast
    • Parking
    • Early Check-In
    • Late Checkout
    • Firewood / amenities
Clients can select extras during checkout, and the price updates automatically.

5. Enable Payments

Go to Organization Menu → Settings → Payment & Checkout:
  • Connect Stripe to accept online payments.
  • If Stripe is not connected, Oskar automatically uses offline payments (cash/bank transfer).
  • Set currency and tax rules.
  • Add your cancellation and rescheduling policy in the service’s Payment & Checkout tab.
Note: Deposits are not available in Oskar yet. Guests either pay online via Stripe or pay offline according to your instructions.

6. Share & Test Your Booking Page

Open your Booking Page and make a full test booking:
  • Select a room
  • Book for multiple nights
  • Add extras
  • Complete checkout
  • Review the confirmation email
  • (Optional) Enable QR check-in for smooth arrivals
Share your booking page via:
  • direct link
  • QR code
  • embed snippet for your website
All booking updates appear instantly in the Calendar and Orders.
Result:
Your boutique hotel or B&B is fully bookable online — with multi-night stays, extras, online/offline payments, automated emails, and clean availability management across all rooms.
