Holiday rentals such as cottages, apartments, cabins, and vacation homes can be managed easily in Oskar using resources and nightly-based services.

1. Add your properties as Resources

Go to Left Menu → MANAGE → Resources and create one resource per rental unit:
  • “Beach Cottage”
  • “Mountain Cabin”
  • “City Apartment – 3rd Floor”
For identical units (e.g., 5 identical apartments), you can optionally use sub-resources / tracked units. Add:
  • Photos
  • Descriptions
  • Capacity (optional)
  • Availability & cleaning buffers under Schedule & Availability

2. Create your Nightly Stay service

Open Left Menu → MANAGE → Services and create a service such as:
  • “Overnight Stay”
  • “Weekend Getaway”
  • “Weekly Stay”
In Service → Booking Duration, set:
  • Duration Type: Nights
  • Choose the minimum/maximum number of nights (if applicable)
Link the service to your property resources to ensure availability syncs correctly.

3. Add your property’s location

If you have multiple sites (e.g., different cities), assign each property to a location under: Organization Menu (top left) → Settings → Locations This ensures the booking page displays the right address and helps with filtering.

4. Share your booking page

Your booking page is ready once resources and services are live. Share it using:
  • The blue Link icon (top right of the dashboard)
  • A QR code
  • An embed snippet on your website (via Booking Page Setup)
Make a test booking to ensure everything feels right.
