Holiday rentals such as cottages, apartments, cabins, and vacation homes can be managed easily in Oskar using resources and nightly-based services.
Recommended Setup
1. Add your properties as Resources
Go to Left Menu → MANAGE → Resources and create one resource per rental unit:- “Beach Cottage”
- “Mountain Cabin”
- “City Apartment – 3rd Floor”
- Photos
- Descriptions
- Capacity (optional)
- Availability & cleaning buffers under Schedule & Availability
2. Create your Nightly Stay service
Open Left Menu → MANAGE → Services and create a service such as:- “Overnight Stay”
- “Weekend Getaway”
- “Weekly Stay”
- Duration Type: Nights
- Choose the minimum/maximum number of nights (if applicable)
3. Add your property’s location
If you have multiple sites (e.g., different cities), assign each property to a location under: Organization Menu (top left) → Settings → Locations This ensures the booking page displays the right address and helps with filtering.4. Share your booking page
Your booking page is ready once resources and services are live. Share it using:- The blue Link icon (top right of the dashboard)
- A QR code
- An embed snippet on your website (via Booking Page Setup)
