Who It’s For

Hair salons, beauty studios, barbershops, pet groomers, lash artists, massage therapists, and personal trainers.

Key Challenges & Needs

  • Handling last-minute bookings and high-demand peak hours.
  • Making sure each stylist, therapist, or room is booked correctly.
  • Preventing double-bookings when services require different durations.
  • Keeping notes on client preferences or pet details.
  • Ensuring a smooth, modern booking experience — even for walk-ins.

1. Add your team and treatment spaces

Add stylists, groomers, trainers, and rooms in Resources.
Use resource groups such as “Stylists,” “Treatment Rooms,” or “Grooming Stations” for easier filtering.
If you have multiple identical units (e.g., 4 barber chairs), use Sub-Resources.

2. Create your services

In Services, add each treatment:
  • “Women’s Haircut – 45 min”
  • “Dog Grooming – Small Breed”
  • “Personal Training – 60 min”
Set duration, price, linked resources, and extras (e.g. “Deep Conditioning,” “Nail Trim”). Clients automatically see available staff and times.

3. Support walk-ins and fast scheduling

Use Manual Bookings in the Calendar to add walk-ins instantly.
The system blocks availability in real time and sends confirmations depending on your notification settings.
For clients booking multiple items (haircut + beard trim), enable the Multi-Booking Cart.

4. Enable payments

In Payment & Checkout:
  • Connect Stripe for card payments (optional).
  • Or use offline methods (cash/bank transfer) — enabled automatically if Stripe isn’t connected.
  • Set taxes and deposits where needed.
All transactions appear in Left Menu → MANAGE → Orders.

5. Collect client or pet details

Use Intake Forms or Custom Fields to gather:
  • Preferred stylist
  • Hair or skin notes
  • Pet breed, age, or temperament
  • Health or allergy information
Forms appear during booking and store data in Customers.

6. Reduce no-shows

In Service Settings → Notifications, toggle Booking Reminders on or off.
To reinforce commitment, require deposits via Payment & Checkout.

7. Promote your booking page

Customise your booking page in Booking Page Setup with:
  • Your logo
  • Cover image
  • Custom section names (e.g. “Stylists,” “Treatments”)
  • Language settings via Multilingual Setup
Share your booking link across Instagram, Facebook, Google Business, or via QR codes.
