Pending orders temporarily hold selected slots while clients or admins complete checkout.
This prevents double-bookings and keeps your schedule accurate.
Pending Order Example

How It Works for Clients

  • When a client adds a service, event, or class to the cart, Oskar reserves the selected slot for 15 minutes.
  • During this time, no one else can book the same resource or event seat.
  • If the client doesn’t complete checkout within the 15-minute window, the reservation automatically expires.
  • Once payment (or free checkout) succeeds, the booking becomes confirmed and appears instantly in the calendar.

How It Works for Admins

  • When you begin creating a manual booking, Oskar also locks the selected slot for 15 minutes.
  • If you get interrupted — for example by a walk-in, phone call, or another task — the slot remains safely held.
  • Pending admin orders appear in the system and can be reopened or completed before the timer runs out.

Notes

  • Pending orders prevent two clients from holding (or checking out) the same slot at once.
  • All expired pending orders are removed automatically to free availability.
  • The 15-minute reservation duration is global and cannot currently be customized.

Pending orders keep your schedule conflict-free — a small safeguard that makes your booking flow smooth, reliable, and fair for everyone.
