Recurring Events

Create a full series such as “Yoga Class every Wednesday at 6 PM for 10 weeks.”
You can generate up to 100 occurrences in advance.

How to Create a Recurring Event Series

  1. Go to MANAGE → Events → Advanced Settings inside your event.
  2. Choose a Start date.
  3. Select a Recurrence pattern (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or custom).
  4. Add an End date or a Number of occurrences (up to 100).
  5. Save — Oskar generates every occurrence instantly.

How It Works

  • All future occurrences appear in your Calendar and Events list.
  • Oskar automatically blocks linked resources (e.g., instructors, rooms, equipment) for each occurrence.
  • You can edit, move, cancel, or delete individual occurrences without affecting the entire series.

Client-Driven Recurring Appointments

Client-created recurring service appointments (for example,
“Haircut every Tuesday at 6 PM, recurring weekly”) are not yet supported.
Clients can currently book only one appointment at a time.
If needed, you can manually create a sequence of bookings or use recurring events as a workaround.
(Full recurring service appointments are on the roadmap.)

Overnight Bookings

Use Nights as the duration unit for services that involve multi-day stays:
  • Hotels & accommodations
  • Campsites
  • Retreats
  • Equipment rentals spanning multiple days

How to Enable Overnight Logic

  1. Go to MANAGE → Services → [Service Name] → Booking Duration.
  2. Select Nights.
Oskar will then:
  • Block the arrival night
  • Automatically free the departure day
  • Allow back-to-back bookings with no overlap
Example:
A booking from June 1–3 blocks the nights of June 1 and 2, and frees June 3 for the next guest.

Notes & Best Practices

  • Recurring events and overnight bookings are independent features, usable together or separately.
  • Use recurring events for classes, workshops, or courses.
  • Use overnight duration units for lodging, retreats, or multi-day rentals.
  • Recurring services (client-driven) are planned for a future release.
  • You can always adjust or remove individual recurring occurrences without affecting the full series.
