### Recommended Oskar Setup

#### 1. Add courts, fields, rooms, and coaches

Create courts, rooms, pitches, instructors, and coaches as resources in\
**[Resources](/documentation/core-modules/resources)**.

For multiple identical courts or fields (e.g. Court 1–6), use\
**[Sub-Resources](/documentation/faq/sub-resources)** so Oskar automatically assigns one specific unit to each booking.

#### 2. Set up classes, training sessions, and group events

Use **[Events & Classes](/documentation/core-modules/events-and-classes)** for:

* Group lessons
* Clinics (e.g. “Beginner Tennis Clinic”)
* Weekly training groups
* Special workshops (e.g. “Summer Surf Camp – 5 days”)

Add capacity, multiple occurrences, and waitlists as needed.

#### 3. Offer individual coaching and private sessions

In **[Services](/documentation/core-modules/services)**:

* Create bookable private training (e.g. “1:1 Tennis Lesson – 60 Minutes”)
* Add price, duration, and assign the relevant instructor or court
* Add extras like racket rental, tape, equipment use, or video analysis

#### 4. Manage memberships and passes

In **[Payments](/documentation/core-modules/payments)**, set up:

* Monthly or seasonal memberships
* Multi-class or multi-session passes
* Renewal reminders
* Online payments via Stripe or offline payment options

*Note:* Oskar supports standard payments and refunds — not deposits or pre-authorisations.

#### 5. Automate communication and check-ins

Turn on confirmations, reminders, and cancellation updates in\
**[Settings](/documentation/core-modules/settings)**.

Use **[QR-Code Check-In](/documentation/bookings-and-scheduling/qr-code-check-in)** to track attendance for classes, workshops, or training sessions.

#### 6. Coordinate schedules and prevent conflicts

View all coaches, courts, and fields in\
**[Calendar](/documentation/core-modules/calendar)**.

Use daily or weekly views to:

* See which courts are booked
* Manage instructor availability
* Block time for cleaning, maintenance, or tournaments

#### 7. Run special events or seasonal programs

For open days, holiday camps, or recreational tournaments, create multi-session events in **Events & Classes**.\
