# Accommodations

> Blueprint for hotels, B&Bs, vacation rentals, lodges, and retreats.

### Who It’s For

Boutique hotels, guesthouses, B\&Bs, vacation rentals, lodges, cabins, and nature retreats looking for a clean and reliable way to manage room availability, multi-day stays, and add-ons.

### Recommended Oskar Setup

#### 1. Start with the AI Setup Agent

Describe your accommodation to Oskar — for example:

> “I run a small lodge with 5 rooms and offer breakfast as an extra.”

The AI creates your draft setup with rooms, services, and availability placeholders. You see a live Booking Page preview while chatting.

#### 2. Refine and confirm your setup

Rename rooms, adjust descriptions, upload your logo and banner, and let Oskar update the preview.\
When it looks right, click **Proceed with this setup**.

#### 3. Create rooms & multi-unit layouts

Use **[Resources](/documentation/core-modules/resources)** to add each bookable room.

For identical room types (e.g., “Standard Room”), use **[Sub-Resources](/documentation/faq/sub-resources)** to track each room individually — like **Room 101**, **Room 102**, **Room 103**.

This ensures you never double-book a room.

#### 4. Configure your “Nightly Stay” service

In **[Services](/documentation/core-modules/services)**:

* Create a service like **“Nightly Stay”**
* Set **Duration = Nights**
* Link it to the correct room, room type, or sub-resource
* Add pricing and any extras
* Adjust payment settings (Stripe online or offline)
* Use **Payment & Checkout** to add cancellation rules

This makes overnight bookings work smoothly:\
Arrival night is blocked → Departure day becomes available.

#### 5. Add extras and upgrades

Use **Extras** or **Price Variants** in your service to offer:

* Breakfast
* Parking
* Firewood bundles
* Spa access
* Early check-in (flat-rate)
* Late checkout (flat-rate)

All add-ons appear during checkout and increase booking value.

#### 6. Set availability & cleaning blocks

In **[Calendar](/documentation/core-modules/calendar)**:

* Block housekeeping time as **manual bookings** or **time blocks**
* Mark maintenance days
* Add seasonal closures

You can use the **Timeline view** to inspect availability across all rooms at once.

#### 7. Add images, translations & branding

Under **[Customize Booking Page](/documentation/booking-page/customize-layout)**:

* Upload room photos
* Add your logo and accent color
* Adjust section order (rooms → services → events)
* Enable multilingual booking (English, German, French, Spanish)

#### 8. Test your booking page

Go to **View Booking Page** to:

* Test booking a room
* Add extras
* Complete checkout
* Confirm the email notifications
* Scan the QR code (if enabled)
