# Reduce No-Shows

> Use reminders and payments to keep schedules reliable.

Keep your schedule reliable by combining reminders, payments, and clear cancellation rules.

* **Send automated reminders** by enabling the reminder toggle inside\
  **Left Menu → MANAGE → Services → \[Service Name] → Notifications**.\
  This sends a reminder before the appointment starts and significantly reduces no-shows.

* **Require upfront payments** in\
  **Organization Menu (top left) → Settings → Payment & Checkout**.\
  Prepayment or deposits discourage last-minute cancellations.

* **Set a cancellation notice period** in\
  **Left Menu → MANAGE → Services → \[Service Name] → Payment & Checkout**.\
  This gives clients flexibility while protecting your schedule.

These settings work together to build trust, reduce missed appointments, and keep your calendar running smoothly.
